I graduated from the University of Warsaw and studied Early Childhood Education and Teaching English to Young Learners. I have worked with children and youth for many years as a teacher, educator, nanny, animator, and English language instructor. I also have several years of experience in the service industry, managing small teams.
I joined Salam Lab in the summer of 2021, even before we formally became an association, as a volunteer in the educational and media department. I was driven by my fascination with Arab culture and the desire to educate about tolerance in a broad sense. Since then, I have actively supported all areas of our work—from writing for our Newsletter for Peace and conducting educational workshops to coordinating the Help Point and internship projects. I manage the Association’s day-to-day operations and administrative support, particularly in human resources management. I support each department in various processes, primarily in grant-related matters. A significant part of my work is maintaining good relations with partner organizations and representing Salam Lab at multiple meetings and conferences. Occasionally, I also conduct educational workshops on anti-discrimination topics.
What does diversity mean to you?
To me, diversity is humanity’s greatest attribute—each of us contributes something unique to
our surroundings, in which we all function.
Which element of Salam Lab’s mission is most important to you?
Definitely building bridges between different national and religious communities! It is
essential to talk about what connects us and our similarities while respecting and
understanding what sets us apart. After all, it’s our differences that make us beautiful!
